What day of the week is it again?!?!?

I know it's Saturday (I think!) but it feels like a Sunday. We've done 'Sunday' things all day so far, had a long lie-in (well Pedro did!), spent ages getting all the ironing done, done 2 washings and tumble dried one of them so far! Even cleaned (well ok, half cleaned) the bathroom! I've been in laundry hell today. I have a serious love/hate relationship with ironing. I HATE doing it but LOVE having it all done and put away, it makes me feel very smug with myself, and very organised. All my work clothes for the next week are ironed and hanging in the wardrobe.

Pete has spent all, and I mean all, afternoon playing Assassin's Creed on his xbox. Far too complicated for me but the graphics are really good and make our telly look fantastic :)

Well tonight I think will be a chilled night watching dvds and eating food that I shouldn't be eating!

Tomorrow we're going to go to Sterling Warehouse to laugh at the prices of furniture (even in the sale), haven't done that for ages and it's always hilarious!

What a hard week that was .......................

Just finished a hard week at work..............Not!!!! Only worked one day this week. Back today for one day and it's the weekend already :-) I could get used to working this kind of short week! If only LOL.

Still got this coldy/flu thing hanging over me but getting better. Although I do have a headache just now but I think that's because I've just eaten a pack of mini chocolate fingers. Opps! That's not going to help the diet!

It's made from tabbed index cards and put together with my new bind it all. I love this gadget. I've got loads of ideas I want to try out. Just not sure how I'm going to find the time to do them all!



Right dinner is calling (I've a cheek after scoffing biccies!) and then tonight I MUST get some ironing done. Oh, how rock and roll is my life! Ironing on a Friday night.

In with the new ....................

Well it is now 2008! There are so many things I am planning to do this year, including the 'It's a Creative World' A-Z Journal which starts on Saturday. I'm going to do it as an A-Z of 2008, just to take a note of things that I'm doing this year, what I'm watching, reading, etc, so I'm looking forward to that :)

I've got my bia gadget so I've got lots of ideas of things to make on that, I still haven't scrapped our Orlando holiday pictures so that needs to be done and everything else that I take pictures of this year. I also want to get to grips with my camera better! I've had it for about 18 months but I still haven't really figured out the best way to use it most of the time.

Okay dokey, need to go and start getting ready for our visitors!

It's very nearly the end of 2007 - how quick as this year gone?????? It will soon be 2008 and everything will start all over again. Spending a quiet night in, P working so it's just me and the cat. Settling down to watch Bones and eat chocolates - what better way to bring in the new year.

I've still got the cold but it's better than it was so I'll survive! Cooking New Year dinner tomorrow of 8 of us so that will be fun!?!?!

Planning to make a wee calendar using my new bind it all and some tabbed index cards. Had planned to get it done today but been busy tidy, cleaning, blah, blah, blah. People not coming here until about 2ish tomorrow so I might get a chance to get it done early in the morning. Don't have a calendar so really need to make one!

Christmas has now gone and it passed in lots of coughs, sniffles and feeling like I'd been hit by a ten ton truck. Feeling slightly better today and I've been outside, managed to venture to the shops briefly.

Got some fab christmas pressies, a fab bind-it-all, some funky new beads, Calvin Klein perfume, a mini tripod for my camera and loads of other stuff. And I've still got some more to get.

Next big task (other than the dreaded houseworks!) is cookng for 8 on New Years Day. Need to get the food shopping done and need to borrow a pie dish, imagine telling everyone your cooking steak pie and then realising you don't have a pie dish!?!?!?!?

Oh well, need to go and veg out in front of the telly!
